Not getting home field is the best thing that happened too the packers. I know the running game has improved but its still Favre and the passing game that has too drive this team too the superbowl. This packer team is not designed too play in adverse weather. If the wrong team goes too Lambeau that first playoff game, packer fans better hope the weather is relatively nice or the playoff run could be short.

I've watched and listened to the Vikings ever since they beat the Bears in their first game 36 years ago. Can't think of a game I've missed. I've never really liked the Packers, but have to wish them the best in the playoffs. Favre deserves to go out in style and as a winner for everthing he has done in football-- A classy individual. smile.gif

Hey Windy,

Nice beatdown the Bears gave the Pack, that was almost embarrassing to watch but I watched till the very end. Bears always come out and play their best game against them.

I actually just got back from the Windy City, was there for work & pleasure Monday through Wednesday. Went to the boat in Elgin, took lots of my money, dont know why I go there because I never win. But nice win by the Bears, just glad the Pack got a loss like that out of the way before the 2nd season starts.

Wild,

Glad to see you left a little of the MN money here in the Windy, usually it is my family leaving bushel baskets full up in Cass Lake where we vacation each year. I figured it out once and I think our family spends about $10,000 each year (about 25 family members) and that is not counting what they leave at the Injun casino (Palace).

Anywho, what are your thoughts about having to face the Cowpokes in JR Ewing-ville? Aren't they something like 0-9 there? I think that is why they left Farve in against the Bears even though they were getting their clocks cleaned. I think they were hoping to pull it out to keep home field advantage thru the playoffs. Oh well, we had our Super Bowl this year, twice against the Pack. Now it is time to use that well worn phrase that Cubbie fans seem to use year after year, WAIT TILL NEXT YEAR!

Good luck in the playoffs! Represent the Black and Blue!

I think they will have a good chance of beating the boys in Dallas. Not making an excuse but there were a few key players that was injured in the 1st meeting. I think IF they play them it will be alot closer game, hoping the Pack come out on top.
