Moose-Hunter
Does anyone know of a low temp t-stat that is programable? I'd like to have the shop heated up to the mid 60s when I get out there in the morning and regulated at around 45* to 50* or so at night.- Are these t-stats even available?- If so, who makes them and where do I pick one up? Roofer
I'm sure they can be set to that low of temp for the night.I have always been told that it would be cheaper just to keep it at or near the temp you want it at....???????
sparcebag
I could'nt find a low set thermo either! So I went to the thermostat that controls a torpedo kerosene heater its a in line 120V stat.It works but not as accurate as programable but I think it goes down to 45,I set mine at 50 just as backup only when I'm in garage.I run it as prewarm before woodstove takes over. Lindy Lee
Then Honeywell Focus Pro TH6110D1021 will program down to 40 degrees. I do not know if you can find it at the box stores but your local heating company can order you one.
IFallsRon
My Honeywell goes down to at least 57. I got it at Fleet Farm. I checked it this morning and it bottoms out at 45.
Jim Almquist
The Honeywell that I have will go down to 45 degrees and is a 5 and 2 type. I bought it at a common store so I would think that it would be available at Menards or L & M.
DRH1175
I just use the classic round honeywell. I turn it down when I leave the garage to around 40. Then turn it up to where I want it when I am in there. It only takes a couple minutes to heat the garage up. I have thought about the programable in the garage. But garages heat up way faster than a house. What type of heater do you have?
