Crow Hunter
I have three outdoor lights, all on one circuit. If I replace the lights with motion sensor ones, how will they work? If motion is sensed by one, will they all come on, just that one, or won't they work at all? The reason I want to do this is that some scumbags came into my yard and stole two light-up deer from our Christmas display, which were not lit at the time. Switching to motion sensor lights is actually plan B, I would really like to mine my yard...Thanks for any advice. CH
BoxMN
Pigtail them and they will work independently. Mine do. Hmmm, maybe it doesn't even matter, now that I think about it. The motion sensing is done in the light itself, not the connection. You should be good to go. Catch those sukkas
wayne123
I bought three for my house and you had a choice on how to wire them. You could wire them so one would control the rest or make them all independent. I choose to keep them independent. If you want them to work together your wiring would need to be set up such that the motion sensor you are using can feed the other lights. chunkytrout
There's also some lights on the market that use a radio signal to turn on the other floods. They all just use a standard hot and neutral so no extra wiring involved. Just set them to the same channel and you're good to go.
