Welllllll! grin.gif

The clinch is a double uni, but pulled threw the big loop.

I will have to say the Uni has pulled me threw for many years, I have felt it does not bring out the full action of many of my jigs. This is why I am going to try the loop knot. I have caught many fish on the uni and it has held tight as nails during many fish.

I will also address the clinch knot also.

I am always up for another trick. cool.gif

Thanks for the info Dietz and all.

(Edit note: When I have stated "Uni", I had ment the double Uni knot).

well then the clinch knot is what i use.not only becuase it is based on the pull-tight the more the fish pulls the tighter the knot gets but becuase i have NEVER had a problem with a knot I HAVE tied. It might seem picky but i dont trust anyone elses knots so i always tie my own or re-tie somone elses knots.

jigginislife,

Same here.

Maybe I think we are useing the same knot. I could be wrong useing the term double uni.

What I do is double loop threw eye let and twist about 4-6 times and send threw double loops and back threw large loop.

Sorry if I am going against the grain.

The Double Uni.!

I have tied everything with this knot. From Eyes to cats, the Uni. has been the key.

Ice eyes to river eyes.

Buttt! The Palomar is again, a suspect for decision.

Hanson and Borch states Palomar, I will try it.
