Anyone think gordon can catch him now with an 86 point lead?

What do you all think of the "hendrick show" this year winning as many races as they did both in the COT and the normal cars?

Will we see a repeat next year of the same kind of thing?

Hendrick has the COT cars figured out better than any other team. They may be at somewhat of an advantage for the start of next season but I do believe that some teams will gain on them.

I think its going to be a Hendrick show for the first third of the season next year. They are just too far ahead of the others.

I personally looked and believed it as they have been known to be a little on the wrong side of the rules a few times in the past.

I dont think that gordan can come back and touch Johnson. I am a huge Johnson Fan, but gordan is a strong car as well. Hendrick motorsports is a organization that is on the top of there game, and i believe they are the best out there.

I liked the comment that Gordan said last night, "its over, there to good, we cant catch them now"

Well, as a HMS fan, I can't say I wouldn't believe it. I was actually thinking a few hours earlier, "I wonder if they are cheating?" and "I bet all the HATERS think they are cheating".

The only thing that can save Jeff now is a blown tire/hard crash, or lapped traffic taking out JJ. The 48 is just running too good.

I guess I am looking at it from a $$ point of view. Would it be safe to assume that HMS has the most inflow of money out of all of the cup teams, hence the ability to pay for more testing at off-site tracks, R+D etc? I'm not so sure they are playing in gray areas since NASCAR cracked down on that pretty heavily, especially with the COT.

Rouch has the revenue coming from 5 teams, Hendrick has 4.

That and Roush is not just limited to NASCAR. I know they at least used to be involved in open wheel. They also have pretty close ties with Ford and there are Roush versions of street cars available.
