I have seen two cougars in the span of 4 months. East of Bemidji about 15 miles. That was 2 years ago. The 2nd one I saw ran right in front of my wife and myself not more than 50 yards. Was a good 5 to 6 feet long from nose to tip of tail and was cruising pretty fast. I get goose bumps to this day just talking about it. A gal I work with has pictures of a cougar that she took just outside of her house in a residential area on the east side of Lake Bemidji. I just asked her to forward them to me. Hopefully I can figure out how to post them. All these cats were seen within 15 miles of each other. Could be all the same Cat!
