Ice Fishing Clothing for Talls

Bob/Mn

Recommended Posts

I feel your pain. 6'4", 220, 36x36. I'm also a duck hunter and I have a pair of XLT bibs and a parka that work great for ice fishing gear. No reason IMO to run out and get a separate ice fishing clothing set up if you can double dip.

I thought you were talking about TALL. You guys arent even a big JR. High B-Ball team. wink.gif

Im 6'6" and 280 and I wear Carhart Arctic bibs. The black ones. They fit me fine. I know some guys bigger than me that wear Carhart stuff too.

My next cold water/ raingear will be the Arctic Armor if I can get some too fit. I really like the idea of having warm rain/ice gear that floats. The guys I know that have the Artic Armor really like it. I also like the reflective materials on it.

I'm 6'7", well over the eigth of a ton mark, and I have carharts for bibs, they work okay, not like I want a custom fit anyway. I have a carhart coat as well (2 actually) so when I need to replace this, I will cosider an arctic suit, but I need to try things on before I buy it. I am not a return it kind of guy.
