Lottery area hunting??

For anybody that hunts in the lottery areas how was it? My zone (424) which is lottery, was pretty poor. Just curious what everybody saw and maybe some more ideas for raising the deer herd.

I hunt 440 and around us it was slow not alot of shots but could be alot of things, in our group had two doe tags and my son was the only one to tag a deer, but we did see some small bucks but we would like them to get bigger so we let them walk, we will see what will go on next weekend.

They choked down our doe tags to 15 I believe in 431. We did see probably 5-6 bucks (one of them we might have seen twice) three of them were forks, 1-2 were 6's maybe the same one... and one reeeeally nice buck. He is still around if the neighbors didn't get him. We also saw a good amount of does and yearling's prob 10-15 depending on multiple sightings. We ended up getting a six point and a fork for the group of 4.
