What motor to put on a 15' Mod V jon

Trying to figure out what I want on my 15' mod v jon boat. Currently I have an old 20hp johnson. I would like the reliability of a new/newer motor. I have no experence with 4 strokes. Is one better at running slow trolling vs the other? I'd assume the 4 is quieter but heavier- boat is rated for a 25 max.

I would stick with a 2 stroke just for the savings in weight. With a boat rated for 25HP max, you want to save as much weight as possible.

The advantages of a 4 stroke are great, noise, smoke, milage, doesnt shake, ect... The advantage of 2 stroke is price, weight. The weight differnce on a 2 stroke 108 lbs, to 4 stroke 150 lbs. Not a huge difference!

These are for a Yamaha 25 hp!!

Maybe worth noting, the new 20 h.p. Yamaha four strokes are only 114 lbs. Sleek little buggars.
