Photo Road Trip

My 5 year old son and I went on a photo road trip from Thursday til Saturday to deep SE Minnesota. I used to spend a lot of time there when I was a kid and haven't been there for quite a few years. It was a lot of fun although the photo ops kind of sucked the on Friday since the clouds were so thick. Saturday on the way home it brightened up and allowed for some better shots. We logged about 600 miles total and these are some of the better photos so far. I haven't finished processing them all yet.

I haven't been to the SE part of the state for years. I'd forgot that it can be quite scenic over there. Too bad it was just dreary weather. Thanks for sharing the nice photos.

Bridge shot has everything. Good composition, good reflection, nice background. Almost looks like it could be in England as opposed to Minnesota with the overcast.

All the shots are pretty cool. I, too, like the bridge shot, but I also like the water running off of the mallard.
