The past several years I've set up a trail camera over the carcass and guts, interesting what you see!! Big hawks, crows, cats frown.gif , coyotes, neighbor dogs. But you almost have to tie the skelton down because they keep wanting to drag if off!! I've also hauled home roadkill deer and set up my trail camera, very interesting.

They go in the middle of the field behind my house. Shortly thereafter we sit in my back yard and shoot yotes.

ditto up at our cabin. makes for great shooting. We also get foxes and wolves in, so we have to really look it over if it's gray. It's a lot of fun though!!!

As of late, my wifes work dumpster! She is manager of a retail store (I get permission) and I always wondered what garbage guy or other co worker would think if a cat got in dumpster and tore bags open!

Hides go to Gun and pawn in Anoka (I get a free pair of cool leather gloves with wool inside when I turn it in there. One pair of gloves per hide and they are not work gloves, but nice gloves you could wear to Thanksgiving.)

If some one is in inner city and does not want to dispose of remains in own trash can, you could always ask local meat market. They have dumpsters for this kind of stuff and most times if they process deer, they have dumpster just for deer Carcass's.

Good luck and I might try to get some yotes on trail cam this year with remains grin.gif

I too make a pile in the feild next to my house with all my deer carcasses and duck and goose carcasses and then hunt yotes over it. The hides go in the freezer until the Hides for Habitat boxes come out. I take every single hide I can to those boxes, Dad's, brothers, brother in laws, friends all of them. Good way to help the deer.
