For some reason I would have thought it best for Jr, once he decided to leave DEI, to make a clean split and start new with everything. I'm not so sure bringing you old crew cheif for the ride is a good idea or not.

They have some chemistry that they like, but to me, the real intresting part is if Eury Jr. can work in the Hendrick structure. Seems like a lot more technically oriented bunch where Eury is an old racer's type crew chief. Will be an interesting adjustment...

Your right Jeff. If Eury does crew chief the team, he may have to change a considerable amount to Hendricks style.

I think he will always be limited to success with Eury Jr. I thought a clean slate was going to be his best option as well.

I think Eury Jr. is a pretty good crew chief, and he and Jr. have great chemistry. I think Eury Jr. will actually have an easier time at Hendrick since the cars should be a little better each week. There will be an adjustment period for the team, but I think it will actually be shorted up some because Eury will be there with Jr.

I agree I was hoping that it would be a clean start but I think with Grub supervising over Eury things should be ok.
