Question about tag(s) for early season...If you purchase an early season can you buy another one during the season or do you have to buy both before hand?

Are you referring to the antlerless only early season in October?

If so, the Early season has their own tags. They do not count against your regular firearms season. Keep in mind that only certain specific permit areas are open to the early season hunt.

I know about the zones and luckily the zone I hunt normally is a management one for the Early Season Antlerless. I am just wondering if you have to have your tags bought by Friday or if you buy one and want to buy another during the season you can or can't.

I believe they are good the instant you buy them, just like bonus tags. It isn't a license you are buying, rather a tag.

Correct. They're valid immediately. You can buy either one or both, it doesn't matter but you do need at least one to participate. In other words, a party of 5 guys can't buy one and go hunting.
