That river is awesome. The lake had its fun moments as well. Unfortunately, they were all during prefishing.

I don't really know if the river fish were spooky or not. But, I do know the bigger fish were on the tear after about 11 AM on Saturday.

That tournament was hands down the best run and most fun tournament (aside from our FM events) that I have ever participated in. I learned more about lake smallmouth in the week I spent up there than I have in 20+ years of fishing for them.

I would encourage anyone that has any experience with that lake or river to fish it. It's a hefty entry fee, but it is really wide open on who's going to cash a check.

im going to guess that reid did most of the fishing, and ray did most of the netting. Thats just what im thinking

I know reid dont like it when ray beats him in the boat.

It was a team effort, wise guy. I think Reid put 3 in the final tally both days, and I put 2.

I can tell you what we didn't catch fish on - spinnerbaits. The rest is top secret.

We finished 9th. Not great, but we got our entry fee back and were fairly happy with it.
