Didnt look like he made to many more friends today. I know that he didnt hit Harvick on purpose but if he wasnt so busy blocking Truex, he may have not had to hit Harvick.

True, but did he do anything different than any other driver out there hasen't done? Gordon and Stewart did the same thing today.

It dosen't matter if you like him or not as a driver, you really have to admire the fire he has as a rookie and that he isn't going to be pushed around. He handles himself alot like a former champion in a black car about 20 years ago......

Montoya and Chip Ganassi both admitted that he had a long 1st gear in the car (Montoya's call) and that it hurt them on the restarts as he could not get up to speed quite as fast as the other cars. Knowing that, Montoya should not have been so blatant with the blocking move on Truex. He's lucky more cars did not get taken out. What was Truex suppose to do??? Run in the back of Montoya while they were all in line, pull out and try to pass (which is what he did), or check up behind Montoya and have 30 some odd cars run into the back of him like we've so many time before when a car check's up?

Montoya was blocking, but he had nowhere else to go. If he didn't go down to block they would have went 3 wide into turn 1. Not a good situation either way.

Happy harvick needs to chill out a bit. A few years ago he blatantly took out the 24 which was out of gas and coasting in first hoping to finishing in the top ten. KARMA SERVERED Mr. Harvick.

Does "I was talking about kicking his A**." count as a swearing penalty?

No penalty as that word doesnt count. problem with Montoya is that corner was not the first time or corner he was having issues.

I understand there are a million ways to see it. I just think on a restart Truex should have used a little more common sense, as the whole field was pretty bottled up.

To be fair you'd have to say not the "stock car driver". The guy has won in Formula one and the Indy 500, Big E could have never done either of those things as they don't work well with his "chrome horn" driving philosophy...

Thats fair, Stock car driver. No problem with that jeff. I agree that Montoya is and has been very good in other racing venues. One day he may be very good in NASCAR but he has a ways to go for sure.

Some of you guys really twist things around. I'm so sick of it.

First, I never said he was as good as Sr. or will ever win another race, I only said he drives like him and he does, with a "I don't care who you are" attitude. He dosen't take any dump from anybody and I figured many of you would love this guy with his agressive driving style that you so love and talk about being the great part about Sr. He may never win another race in his life but he is still one of the best RACECAR drivers in the world.

For the record, Truex hit Montoya under braking, not under acceleration, and to outbrake Montoya just dosen't happen.

Hard to out-brake a guy when he's brake-checking you into the turn and at the same time running you into the grass to block the momentum you had to pass.

This sounds like Tony Stewart, IMHO I think Tony Stewart is the closest thing there is in Nascar to Big E. Montoya has more raw talent than the majority of the field
