Jr. is going racing for Mikey!

I heard today that with Jr going to the hendrick camp that Mr. gordon wont be the #1 guy there and he is applying for the 55 car.

Yea, it will be tough to see Mr. Gordon next year, standing behind his 5 cup trophies, and Jr. standing there with just a few Miss Congeniallity, oops, I mean most popular driver trophies to stand behind.

I really dont know if the press will even talk about another driver other than Jr. he will be the center of attention even with only his Miss Congeniallity awards.

Harv, there is no doubt that Jr. will be the media darling at Hendrick and all of NASCAR but will they be saying "it's about time" or "what's wrong with Jr.?" Since most of the media types say that the younger Busch brother is a better all out driver than Jr. it will be interesting to see how he does, as well as how Hendrick, Gordon and JJ all handle each other and who will get jelous of whom? Time will tell. No matter which way it goes it will be fun for a little while at least.

Hey, did you guys here that NASCAR wants to get more into the hip-hop crowd? When that happens I'm gone. I really hate that stuff they call music.

Thats what I believe also and I was hoping he would go to DEI to give us a better gage of our beliefs.

We dont know who the better driver is as Jr will have great equipment every week fior the first time and also have great teammates if they work with him. I do believe that Gordon will as he already has.

The one that might get jealous may be Johnson.

I don't see jr doing any better with hendricks then he did at DEI.

Jr. jumped ship, stabbed his fans in the back, all for a bigger pay check. Little to do with better equipment.

From what I have heard Jr state as the reason he is leaving DEI is the fact that he thought that DEI was falling behind in the equipment and research end of the game. Now, is that his true belief, Only Jr knows.

Will he do as well as young Busch did with Hendrick, only time will tell. I do believe that if Hendrick Motorsports decided to drop Kyle or they were not happy together and sign Jr., Mr hendrick must have felt that Jr would do a better job with the car or would be a better fit with the other Hendrick cars.

I could be wrong but that is the way I seem to read it.

I think a huge factor in Jr. leaving DEI was family and all the talk that went along with it. It was no secret that he and Teresa did not see eye to eye. IMO it didn't matter where he went as long as he got out of there.

Even if Shrub lands at DEI it will still be hard to judge driver quality. DEI has sure been stepping up their program since Jr's announcement with the engine deal and now the Ginn merger giving them the 7 post shaker and expansion. In the end I think alot of good things are to come for both Jr and DEI.

Jr will get better equipment for sure, Kyle had a great car and Jr's blew up. OH, well, next year.
