Terry Redlin retires

I used to work for Terry's publisher in Bloomington (The Wooden Bird) He really hated having to sign all those prints thats for sure! Not too many artists are able to complain about signing fatigue.

I remember the first time I brought a few thousand prints out to Watertown for Terry to sign. I found the house...a big pink brick mansion with a few chimneys. Terry met me in the driveway. I said "Mr.Redlin, I thought I was lost..I was looking for an old cabin with ducks flying all over the place" grin.gif

Great guy and excellent artist! Now maybe he can do a little fishin!

If you're ever going through Watertown, SD it's worth a trip to the Terry Redlin museum. We were there a few weeks ago and it was amazing. His artwork is unbelieveable!!! We "oohhed and aaawed" at all the paintings. In some of the paintings a star or street light is so bright you think there' an actual light in the painting! If it would've been in the finances, I would've needed an semi to haul our purchases home!
