I can start it up in my driveway (with the hose hooked up), and it runs fine. I can start it at launch, and go across the lake, just fine.
But just try to restart it and keep it running...it just won't start up or stay running. Eventually, I can get it going...and if I can get it going, I can keep it running...at least until I have to start it again. But something isn't right.
When it happens, the bulb in the fuel line goes flat...am I not getting enough fuel through for some reason?
My initial reaction is to try a new/different fuel line between the tank and the motor, to see if that is the problem.
Any other experiences or suggestions to help me out? Thanks in advance...
We went to the flats too. I dipped a tire on the rental car onto it just to say I’ve been there, but it was still pretty soft from winter melt. After seeing some moron in a BMW suv get dragged out of the muck I had no intention of repeating his stupidity.
