We Do Have a Few Angel Eye JR's left
and more on the way.

We are out of the Regular Angel Eyes but expect more in on Monday, December 30th

If you like to fish for walleyes, pike, lakers, even jumbo perch, the Angel Eyes are the way to go.

If you like to fish for crappies, perch, walleyes, and sauger the Angel Eye JR's are.

The size of the forage in your lake will also have a bearing on it is well. If you have larger minnows in your lake, then the Angel Eyes, smaller=Angel Eye Jr's.

Hi, tried to phone in an order for JRs yesterday but nobody mans the phone at night on weekends. Oh well, there's always tomorrow. Got a question. I've found that with other glow jigs that charging them too brightly can sometimes spook the fish. I've had better luck with a dimmer glow. Any comments? Also, I store my glow jigs in a dark box to preserve the paint's ability to glow. I had one on a rod in the back of my truck for a while and when compared to a properly stored one it looked dead. That was a while ago. Has the next generation of paint solved this problem?

I have been using the AE jr. out on Vermillion for Walleyes. The hammered gold with red on the ends caught about 10 small(9 to 12 inches) walleyes and the jig and minnow just sitting under a bobber caught 1 small and 2 larger walleyes.

It would seem that the more active fish come in and smack the AE and the ones that are a little more neutral go for the bait that is just sitting.

Just like american express don't leave home without them grin.gif

Well now that we finally got our house done and are heading to the lake this weekend how are the angel eyes suppose to be used?? Have never really jigged before so ya might say i am a beginner. I know most tip them with a minnow head or parts of the minnow but just wondering how much action you need to use for eyes and crappies. Thanks for the info.

FREE Millennium Lure to all who call in and order an Angel Eye Jr card, either regular or glow series.

You must ask for the FREE Millenium Lure when you call your order in to receive it.

This offer is good until the end of February 2003 or as long as supplies last, whichever comes 1st.

Call Toll Free: 1-866-523-0980

Here is an Angel Eye Jr tip:
A good idea is to actually jig the lure where you can view it just under the ice. Practice jigging so it looks like a dying minnow struggling up and then fluttering down. Don't forget the short slow rises and short flutter down as well. Twitches, etc.

Always try to stay in contact with the Angel Eye Jr when jigging to detect those subtle bites.

Agressive jigging will call them in. However, often when you see them on your fishfinder, you will have to experiment and let the fish tell you the presentation they prefer. Sometimes a slow jig, quiver, or still action is required to trigger a bite.

It's better to know before hand how the jigging motions look so you can duplicate it deeper when you can't see the Angel Eye Jr.

Do you have another technique you care to share?
