CAN YOU FEEL THE LOVE?

It just keeps getting better.. just now another box showed up at my door!!! A little begging goes a long way!!!

Not only will we be giving away some of the stuff mentioned above.. But each and every anger will walk away with a 300 yard spool of 10 LB Gamma fishing line!

I also have a few Gamma Visors to give out as well.

I'll bring an extra dollar. Especially being an East sider venturing into the West Side's territory. Maybe I can get the same one back after Big Marine?

Does anyone on the East Side want to give up some of their hotspots to help a teammate?

Bob,

If I had a spot to share, I would. However, I have so few that I can't afford to give one away.

I do know Bass-n-Spear's spots, and I will share those with everyone on Saturday morning.

Well if the "West Side" is looking for some more firing power I suppose I could lend them a hand?! Did you guys get the 15 boats you were shooting for? I think one of the "team Shady" boys is going to have to fish with me. smile.gif

I am planning on being on Tonka bright and early to pre-fish for Mondays Super 30. But a day on Waconia is hard to pass up.

Oh, one more thing. The East vs. West battle kind of got tainted because Team East's Bob Bennett was without partner. He had to bail this morning due to illness. So, Bob was without partner and without a boat (he left his up at his cabin). Waconia home-towner Andrew Walter threw his hat in to the ring this morning and was assigned to the East crew because the East was one short. So, here's the slightly skewed East vs. West results:

East - 70.06 pounds

West - 68.02 pounds

The Deitz Dollar bet never changed hands, so we may have to settle this score at Big Marine on August 11th. That's our next FM bass event. I'll post more details on that one soon.

I would like to extend a HUGE Thank You to all of those helping with this event. I had an absolute blast. It was great to put faces with somes names. You can expect me to see me around here more and more now that I have some FM "Friends".

Thanks to Dietz, Ray and all of the other FMers who helped run the event and pull in a few sponsors. It's tough work and I sure do appreciate it.

Dietz, AWESOME job on the prodcast. Pretty cool stuff. You never cease to amaze. Additionally, it was awesome meeting you dad. I've heard so many stories about him in our yearly fishing trip, and it was glad to finally meet the legend.

Lastly, thanks to my partner Ike. We had exchanged e-mails several times before the event, but never met face to face. I enjoyed the day on the water very much.

Thanks again to FM.com!

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
