Chode2235
Seems to me that the sport of kayak (or other small unmotorized craft) are becoming quite popular here, and are even more popular all over the country.I would love to learn more about kayak fishing specific to our state. Especially outside the boundary waters. For instance, Aayak Angler magazine just featured Minneapolis in it's top 25 After Work fishing spots, and MN is the home to Wenonah and River Ridge Custom canoes. So there is a definite base of support for unmotorized craft, I would just like more in depth analysis from the fishing gurus here at FMN that focuses on unmotorized boats as a fishing platform, and potential alternative to powered boats.Thanks. Walterwontfalter
How about some info on how to tackle a new lake you haven't fished before...and don't have a lake map for...specifically, where on a lake to start first, sort of how to narrow a lake down to the areas most likely to produce fish. I find that when trying out a new lake on a whim I spend most of my day looking around and scanning the bottom with my electronics. Maybe even open water and hard water?
