fishin58
Does anyone have a recipe or approximate cooking time for fish on the grill. I would be using walleye or perch. I am looking to put it in tinfoil. I had tried this some years ago and had mixed results. So I am looking for a good recipe.
Eric Wettschreck
In tinfoil, I wrap a perch fillet with buter and onions. Rock that bad boy on the weber (Charcoal) for aboot 5 minutes a side.Sounds boring but I really like it.
Deitz Dittrich
I make a tinfoil boat, and with my hand spread very thin layer of butter on the foil.. Season the fish with whatever you want.. I like garlicpepper, and salt.. Keep it simple.. then grill on Med/Low heat for about 12 mins.. or untill it flakes...
jbdragon17
I like to make a foil pouch with a pad of butter, some lemon juice, onions, garlic, salt and pepper grill about 5 minutes per side. This process creates a lot of great juice which can easily be turned into a sauce (basically thicken with some heavy cream)...I often searve the fish and sauce over a light pasta (angel hair is my fav). Trow in some capers and sundried tomato's.. YUMM
ozzie
The best tasting fish I have had on the grill was this.......1 walleye (2 fillets) per foil wrap......1/2 stick to a stick of butter depending on what you like it can be done with less.....green, yellow, and red peppers cut up and placed in also with the fillets and butter......then wrap up and let it cook until it turns a nice white (5-10 minutes) or so. tasty fish!!! p.s if you want you can also season the fillets or add onions to the mix..... Eric Wettschreck
I use whatever size perch I'm lucky enough to catch.
