spinning reels

Im planning on getting my first spinning reel for bass.Im looking for something in the 50-100$ range.What reel would you guys reccomend?

Shimano Symetre $79 bucks...You will LOVE this reel!!!! I have three of them and for the price i really dont think you can find a better reel!!

I second that. For the money you can't get a smoother reel. I have 2 older models and 1 newer style. Never a problem, and the drags are SMOOOOTHE!

If you can raise the price to $119.95 the Shimano Stradic is a superb choice.

ok guys thanks for the help im gonna look at those but i might just use the rapala reel i use for jiggins walleyes.Im not sure yet

As stated the Symety is a great reel for the money!.. on paper its the same reel as the Stradic.. but the stradic has higher quality bearings. the gears also meet a higher quality standard in the stradic as well.

I love my Pflueger President. 10 ball bearings, just like the Supreme, but half the price.

30 series: Prez 5.2:1 9.1 oz....Supreme: 6.2:1 7.4 oz

35 series: Prez 5.2:1 11.2 oz....Supreme: 6.2:1 8.8 oz

When rod and reel combos are measured in ounces, 2-3 ounces makes a HUGE difference. I waited to get the Supremes instead of the Presidents. It was well worth it IMO. At least for my set ups.
