#44 and #55 on the trailer again. Maybe the new crew chief wasn't the answer for DJ?

Obviously DEI has superior equipment to the junk Mikey's running now as he typically made almost every race from what I recall.

Not a Mikey apologist by any means, but the lack of seat time for him can't help much either. He's run what....3 hours in race conditions now this year? But that's hardly an excuse for him not qualifying as DJ has ran most of the races this year thanks to past champions provisionals, so his seat time hasn't exactly helped improve his team either!

A driver/team owner that has never over-achieved with an aging veteran and a rookie on a new manufacturer's team is a recipe for disaster. Ding! Turkey is done.

What is going on at MWR?? Now DJ is missing the race. NAPA is not happy, now UPS is not happy. Why is the #00 better in qual. trim?? Benson makes the race and he has no seat time at all this year in a cup car!!! This just so hard to understand. DJ and Mikey have what, over 40 years of cup experience behind the wheel yet they cant find a setup?? Borland left, Waltrip just changed his crewchief a few weeks ago. It seems like they are firing the wrong people confused.gifconfused.gifconfused.gif

I wish I could send a petiton down to Atlanta to get them to move the NAPA sponsorship.

I have a feeling that these MAJOR sponsors will not put up with these kind of results much longer, face it Mickey has an overall sub par on track record and well DJ is nearing the end of his career. Just how long will NAPA & UPS cut these checks for $millions$ and not get the advertising they expect on TV?

that is true if the 55 didn"t get caught cheating and was making the races. we would only have little blips about them. I think the sponsers and toy will stay the full two years or start shopping next summer. They know what toy did in the trucks and it will just be a matter of time before they start being a contender with the good teams. I am not saying it will be mwr teams but don't count them out they are improving slightly at every race except for the 88.

I would agree with bubs. I don’t like or root for 55 or 44 to make any race. But to call the Toyotas junk..... I would like to see all of the teams have to go through the qualifying regiment that these teams have had to overcome. I think David R showed the plate equipment is up to par and Dave B showed last week that his stuff is far from junk.

I am disappointed that the 44 car had all of the provisional’s to knock a toy or someone who obviously is faster than him out of all of those beginning races. I would have loved to see the 83 car with all of those free passes he would be in the top 35 without a doubt in my mind.

I am looking for the better of the Toyotas, 22,00,83 when he qualifies to start seeing the top 15 or so in races. Toyota has a new cup engine it is going to start to run at the Lowes 600. Even though from everything I have heard the Toy Cup engine actually has the highest dyno power???

All I have to say is HOW CAN BLANEY DO IT???? Come on Toyota teams, Blaney is doing just fine and look pretty good Sunday. I have met Blaney several times in my sprint car days and it is really good to see him succeed especially now in a car that really no one else can make work, including DJ who is in my eyes a great driver. Too much hype and whining. Blaney is driving to prove he belongs not to hang his name. I really admire him even in the face of past Sprinters (Kinser) who haven't been able to really cross over.
