Anyone have this gun? Just wondering because I saw it on sale at Gander Mt. for $299.00. I have heard some good things on Stogers, but was just wondering if this was a get what you pay for kind of gun?

Picked one up years ago at Gander.Payed a little less than what your looking at. Its a good gun for light loads. The receiver started to eat into the butt stock from recoil. Not seated very well.. They take forever to get repairs done and they dont like to ship parts out. Go figure....

For the money they do a good enough job.....

I own a Stoger Condor O/U 2oga for the last 7yrs and have never had a single problem. Its been a fantastic gun for me. I've shot ducks, pheasant grouse and doves. I hope to add turkeys to that list in a couple weeks.

I honestly have never had a problem or complaint with this gun. When I bought it it was $400, but I can see that they've come down in price. It breaks down into 3 pieces for easy cleaning. I can use 2 3/4" shells or 3" rounds. Its very light and comfortable. I've never needed parts or repairs, but I have been able to find extra chokes for it pretty easily. Mine shows almost no wear at all.

I would recommend it to anyone. Its a great price for a nice Over/under. Once you own one you'll never want a pump gun again.

Kind of the Remington Express of o/u shotguns. Functional, and can be used as a boat paddle in emergencies. Nothing special, but it works. I'd save my money and look at an SKB, Beretta, or Browning.

There are a lot of stoegers out there thanks to the promotions by Gander. I talked to the mgr and he said not many problems have arisen with these. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another. I shoot a red label, and have had it for many years, if I look for another shooter gun, it will most likely be the "express" of over unders. It's an easy choice for me, $300 vs $1300+.

If I'm in the market for a show gun, I'll spend the money, My guns are in a locked safe, not much show there!

Good luck, Brent

I found them at Cabelas and Gander. The thread patter is the Win-Browning-Mossberg pattern. Also called winchoke and the invector models (NOT invector plus) If a choke fits any of those patterns it will fit your Stoeger Condor O/U.

Borch has a link to a site that tells you what pattern every gun takes. Its in the turkey forum about chokes for my gun.

Matty,

If you have one of the new Condors it may have the Beretta/Benelli thread pattern. Once Benelli bought out Stoeger I know they switched some of that stuff over. Make sure to double check.
