Best handheld vacuum for boats?

Alright, this one's a little Martha Stewart, but........What do you all use for cleaning out the boat? I'm tired of lugging the shopvac into the boat and not being able to maneuver around the boat with it.

I need a new handheld vac, one that gets the sand out of the carpet.

What are your suggestions?

Small shop vac works great. the big ones are a pain. If you dont like that idea dirt Devil I think it is makes a small bag hand held with a rotating brush that a friend uses and it seems to do a good job of loosing up the dirt etc. in the carpet. Just not as powerful as a shop vac.

I use a small shop vac to get around where the Dirt Devil can't go. As I shop vac I get the sinkers and line off the floor at that time. You don't want to hit a sinker with the Dirt Devil no do you want fishing line getting wound up in the beater bar.

If you want something small, get the Dirt Devil with with the rotating brush.

Also: To get blood out of the carpet, use Oxy-Clean. Spray bottle or small wipes - works great !!

Hands down, 18v dewalt 2gal shop vac!!! Use at work, at home, in the boat, in the car, and anywhere you want to carry it. It also has a power cord, if you are near an outlet.
