Anyone find some good deals at the sportshow? There were lots if you took the time to look. One can walk out of there saving lots of money. I bought a Eagle locator for $49.99 (reg. $159.99). I saw Fenwick Venture rods for $29.00 (reg.$49.99), lightning rods for $14.99 (after rebate). Lots of crankbait for $2.00. Some excellent prices on reels too. Looking for a duffle bag or gear bag of some sort? There is a huge selection for under $20. I would bet on Sunday some of the sales might get better saving even more money.

Bought a reconditioned Aqua View Scout XL for $159.00 including tax. Thought that was pretty good. Found a piece of paper inside when I got home that said "as is" some features may not work. That is exactly what I got. Camera and screen work buy no direction or lights which I think will be just fine, better then having nothing at all.

I am looking for a new boat and the show specials were nothing special. I did find a place where I could have saved maybe $500. I think shortly there will be better sales than that around.

I have not decided yet. I dont know what brand I am going to purchase. Probably a 16 ft with a 50-70 hp motor with all the goodies.

I looked at it and also looked at the new LUNDS. Might lean towards the LUND as they are a sponsor and also do have a good boat.

Both are very nice boats.

I bought a reconditioned Aqua View Scout SRT for $185.00. That one retails for $370.00. I found the same note inside, but thank goodness everything works fine. I was told there is a 90 day warranty.
