I would say it's a joke since Wade Philips is the new coach, I guess ol' Jerry Jones didn't want a performer, he just wants someone he can push around, ooopss..seems a lot like Al Davis' mentality....

Hopefully Jones and his ego will keep that team at bay for a good long time.I think he should just coach the cowboys himself.Of course then who could he blame their failure on,so that wouldnt work.

He has very high expectations, which is fine for a person like him, but it does get to the point where it can get out of hand and people start to wonder where things are heading.

the only difference between jones and davis is that jones still has some talent on his team. the raiders are a joke. the pokes just imploded all year. in that week conference, there is no reason for them to not make the playoffs

Is Phillips just a temporary fill in until that Garrett can get some more experience as a coach under his belt? With the media saying how much Jones loves Garrett that is what I am thinking. Have Phillips in there for a year or two to help develop the Defense then let him go and promote Garrett.

i think alot of teams would have waited if they knew marty was gonna be out there. i would like to see him in detroit or arizona.
