Albino Moose

A friend emailed me these pics. It said they were taken in N. Wisconsin or the U.P. Don't know if they are or not but thought they were kinda cool.

I live 5 minutes away from Marenisco Michigan and they have been in every coffee shop within 50 miles. In our local paper the truth came out last week, they are real but they were takin in Maine...

I got the same pics in an e-mail. It said they were from Alaska.

Wherever it is from, cool looking Moose. When I was a young lad I saw a albino deer.

Actually these moose are from Ontario with a small population being around Timmins and I believe Sudbury . It actually just got put into law to protect them . They also are not a true albino but are a recessive gene similar to that of a yellow lab . Some have been hit by trains up here . I have more recent pics somewhere of these white moose as these ones have been around for quite some time .
