Steve Foss
OK, fine, Buyck may not actually BE the end of the world, but you have to admit you can SEE it from there. I was all the way out the Echo Trail from Ely today taking pics in the snow, and how can a guy resist this? MARINERMAGNUM
Steve, why did you park on that sign? Doesn't your camera bag get wound up in the pedals?
Steve Foss
Hah! The sign on the other end of town has a boy's bike. No sexism in that community, which clearly is a Buyck built for two.
DTro
The funniest part of that whole thing is that I'm guessing the intention was to let everyone know how to pronounce the name of the town. I can imagine the conversation. "Why is that bike sitting on the Buick sign?"
Steve Foss
Totally. It's like trying to figure out how to pronounce Biwabik, Bovey, Nebish and Ponemah. Or, well, Klobuchar, but I don't mean to slide down into politics.
