Push Pole

Last summer I found myself on many occasions pushing my boat through shallow milfoil choked areas with a paddle. I've seen pros on tv using long push poles to do this. Does anyone know where I can get one of those things?

I think I got mine from Bass Pro Shops. I always carry it! V-hull boats get stuck even easier than rock skippers.

Thanks for the help, found one online at BPS. About $50 with the foot attachment. Nice.

All you need to buy is the web feet, you can buy a length of closet pole from Menards and save yourself some money. I have had the feet for better then 20 years and have only changed the pole out once. I use a 10' length.

I bought one this past summer from Gander. The attachment is extra. I think I paid under $50 for the whole thing. The pole is telescoping so you can pack it in a storage compartment in boat.
