Best Tub for your Dollar?

Swimmer

Question

Does anyone have a bead on where a guy can find a decent sled/tub to haul the stuff out on that won't break the bank? I was at Gander and couldn't beleive what they wanted for the Otter II. I will be hand pulling most of the time, so I don't need anything indestructible.

Fleet farm carries some cheaper sleds.

I have an Otter sled and I only hand drag mine too, but the skids area wearing out from dragging across roads, in parking lots and accesses where salt melts it to the concrete. I've got some big gouges in it. I'm gonna do the hyfax kit after the season.

I personally will stay with the Otter as it seems to be the best built house out there. I am not saying that the others are bad and my Clam has served me well. I do believe that for the little extra you will get more years of service out of the Otter.
