Ice conditions at Devils Lake

Anyone been on Devils Lake in the last 5-7 days? I am wondering if it is still safe to head out on with all this warm weather. I heard only 5-7 inches last weekend. ANyone hear Different?

This weather isn't affecting the ice conditions on Devils Lake at all. I have been fishing every day and the least amount of ice I have found is 8 inches. Some of the smaller bays like 6 mile have closer to a foot of ice. This time of year you dont have to go far to find some excellent fishing. Get in the flooded timber or find a weed line and you'll have excellent luck.
