Come on Huskers...Introduce Yourself!!

Recommended Posts

I am the only Nebraskan to post on here so far. Let's here from some of you HotSpotOutdoors Nebraskans.

I know there is some great fishing down there. Just haven't had the opportunity to get in on it yet. Anyone fish Calamus this year? How are the muskies coming along? Are they getting big enough for me to trade in my walleye gear yet? Calling all Nebraskans....

Please tell us a little about yourselves?

I am right here Harvey! We are kind of in a tweaner right now. Need some cold weather to get some good ice, or warm weather to break up the poor ice that we do have. I am ready for some good crappie action.

I am traveling back home to SD for the holidays to visit family and plan on going up north to Webster and stay with Scott at his Bed and Breakfast and do some fishing on Pikeral, Waubay, and a few honey holes.

Happy Holidays to all you politically correct people smirk.gif and Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah to the rest. smile.gif

Wish the Huskers well in the "Fruit of the Loom Bowl." tongue.gif

GO BIG RED!!!! GO BIG RED!!!!!

I'm here! wink

My name is Greg and fish just about all the lakes in SC Nebraska and northern Kansas. If you have any questions, post them up and I'll do what I can to help you out.

I am currently laid off from my job and in the process of starting up my own business. I make custom jigs, bucktails, and slab spoons. Also in the works is some part-time crappie and walleye guiding.

Look forward to chatting about fishing.

Walleye4, are you fishing in the Sherman tourny April 18/19? Four of us from here are heading down. Like the area and the lake looks like a great area to get to know. Welcome to the greatest site on the www. I have seen your input on the other sites and it has been nothing less than outstanding. I hope you stay here. You will enjoy.

I transplanted myself to Nebraska from Minnesota. I moved here almost a year ago.

due to getting laid off, I extended my search for employment out of the state of Minnesota. I landed in the middle of nowhere, Nebraska. But Ideally centrally located around some Popular fishing holes in Nebraska.

I will be finishing up the project i am working on in July. At that time i will be moving to Wyoming. Which i look forward to. I enjoy Hunting. and look forward to both the archery and Firearms seasons for Elk, Mule and whitetail deer, Antelope. Maybe even some Mountain Lions.

I am not fishing any tourneys this year I don't think! I may fish the Johnson Lake tourney but that will be it. I am planning on being to busy with my new Tackle business to have a whole lot of free time. I have hung around this site for quite awhile but always forgot about it. I am going to start making regular trips here to help out where I can!

Great, because between the both of us, we can show everyone that Nebraska has great fishing and hunting. I appreciate the help.

If you aren't fishing the Tradewinds tourney, don't be afraid to point me in the right direction grinblush

grin I appreciate it, but I don't expect you to give up your spots. I know you do well there and wouldn't beg, borrow, or steal anything from you. I need to learn on my own. Do you think the spawn will be in full swing by then? Is it going to ever warm up?

On a side note, the last time I fished there, for the same tourny, Bob Probst Jr, coming off his Francis Case PWT victory, tied with us...it was about mid range in the field of competitors, i.e. zero money, but it was a victory for us, knowing that we fished just as well as he did grin
