Barry Bonds job hunting

Barry Bonds shows up at the owners baseball winter meetings today looking for a job. He's 22 homers short of Hank Aaron's record and can't stand it. I doubt it will happen, but I hope all the teams see him for what he is and don't offer him anything. He made the cloud thats over his head, so let him stand in the shadows.

Oh oh, I hope that story is just East Coast media hype. As much as we need an RBI producer, Bonds is a tainted commodity and I wouldn't want to see any records he sets being associated with the Twins. From everything I have read he's a clubhouse nightmare and could do more damage than good.

agree doesn't fit the twinkies style, but IMO that is why we always seem to be 1 player away. Won't go out and get that 1 player that isn't in that twins "mold". I'm not sayin I'm sayin, I would sit in the humpdy dome if bonds was playing. If I remember right, didn't we have a player suspended out of the pen for substance. Ricon maybe?

I saw on Cold Pizza that he's just walking the floor in the winter meetings to scare the Giants into jacking there offer up. Being that there a bunch of fruitcakes out there in San Francisco anyhow let them over pay him.

CNY Tim; good call. I see this morning the Giants got the job done yesterday. I was afraid Twins GM Ryan would read the NY papers and get an idea he otherwise would not think of. His big challenge is getting the smell of formaldehyde out of Polads wallet to keep our 3,4 and 5 hitters in MN.

I heard Bonds was going into pharmicutical sales. something about he has the experiance. Who knows. One thing for sure is most people that use steroids in big amounts don't last much past 50. They somehow develop these mistery illnesses.

I am a firm believer in work for what you get.
