CNY Tim
Tuesday hmm., Franky sounds like a plan although I think I'll be there early with Tank and Billy. Amanda's awards at the Beeches went well and Heather went back to college today at 4 p.m. so I wanted to vist with her a little while before she left. Never made it to the lake and by the wind velocity when we got out of the Beeches it would have been more like sailing, right Todd.. Way to go on BB my friend, This time the waders are going in the van and will make her out on the main flotilla maybe with the wind and cold temps that shore retightened some remember it's 5 deg. cooler in the valley... Anyhow after talking with Z he's unfortunately out of commision for a while. He had an accident while trying to do two things at once., answering the phone wasn't one of em it was tring to catch the fillet knife that slipped out of his right hand and when he made contact with theknife as it fell it buried it to the bone palm side first and is scheduled for surgery to repair his index finger ligament. I don't know about you guys but I'm kind of looking forward to the end of this season but I'm bound and deternmined to finish it on a high note. Big Johnny Ice - Glad you got out and gave her one last go. Anytips from the front runners for next season? Frank - Glad everything worked out o.k. with the trailer bender, can't believe I wanted to go back and wait with you till the cops arrived, what was I thinking I had three beers Glad things worked out and hopefully Tuesday will make em pay... Oneida Saturday was pretty uneventful all small perch except for Todd's keeper but I caught plenty, and Franky's sled was freaking awesome getting us on and getting us off safely. Good wings at the new south shore place and the Yuenglings went well with it, thanks Frank.. Belated Happy Birthday to you Wayne, good to see ya check in... Well Franky it's back to the grind tomorrow
cnypanfisher
My fishing friends Steve and David were fishing Constantia where Tim,Frank,Tank,+ Dark cloud were last week when they had their big trip on oneida. Saturday they got 47 nice perch, so naturally I went out Sunday and got skunked. Steve is getting beter with the tip-downs and had all 10 going by the time I got on the ice at 8:30 or so on Sunday. Caught a small perch on friends camera with a small nitro, saw a lot of dinks and few biggers ones with it, but they just were looking at my jig like it was an alien. Sunday was windy as hell, good thing David had a hut with heat going, or I wouldn't have lasted the 4 hours I was out there. Ice is real slushy by shore all around the lake now, but when you get past that it is great for any kind of vehicle or walking. Last few day of fishing this week I guess, I'm gonna reserve us a boat when the ice goes out Timmy and take you to the honey hole after ice-out, maybe get 2 if any1 else wants to try it. A good west wind 10mph, a few days after ice out will be perfect conditions, get out your stick bobbers and snelled hooks, 4-6 pound test on your light tackle and you are groovin. Well i'm off , gonna try to get some work done, then try the park later today.TO Tim

Dark Cloud
Timmy - Wed looks like the day for C. Not that I can make it though. Dad and I fished the neighbors pond and they were real picky. He did get a big perch and another 10+ inch gill, plus we got some smaller gills and a few bass....
CNY Tim
Nice fish Tank.. Look at Meg, can't tell if she is looking at the tennis ball or the perch. Yeah I was hoping this stuff would blow over at work DC and we could get in another run in together on top bud, it's gotta suck. Tank talk to you later I may be dropping in solo wed morning or maybe Frank will cancel his dental appointment

The first 20 or so feet walking on is really sloppy, don't know if it will tighten up enough this evening...

CNY Tim
Thunderman - Man Todd I wish we could hit this tomorrow it would be nice to run into some slob perch for once. Anyhow here's Craig's report - 14 keepers out of 35 perch caught a few hogs and a few hog breakoff's, ice is still a good 15" and waders are in order, 38' and the water is murky, real murky... You would think these perch would be turning on in the shallows??? He did fish in 12' for a little while and nothing was going on... Tank those pigs were close to our area bud and he had a nice school roll through late. Franky I'll pick you up at 0530, screw work Tank did you win at the casino today? insurance guy
Good luck out there tomorrow!!! It's back to Lake George again this weekend for me Timmy and more perch than you can shake a stick at Got up there last Sunday amidst high winds and high pressure but still managed 30 good perch with one real heavyweight that taped out at 13"!! Ice conditions were great with about 10" of good ice and a top layer of white ice capped off by 8" of snow. Should be good atv travel conditions again this weekend with the perch really starting to show their spawning colors now! Can't wait to fish in some nice weather finally. It seems so many of the weekends this year had some windy cold weather and all the nice fishing days are during the week
BigJohnnyIce
Just got back from Silver Lake....slow goings for me and my buds. I caught a bunch of perch, but most were dinks, and only got 9 keepers from fishing 11am till 6pm. Talked to one guy coming off when I was heading out, and he said the morning bite was hot and it died at 10am. Warren was his name, Timmy He had 12 nice ones in the 3 hours he fished. Good luck tomorrow!! This might not be my last time out, as I feel a little cold coming on

Trickster
DC, I'am still sneaking away from work to hide out at Gander what better place to go, Hows things going? RJ and I have been fishing Otisco alot this year he has his own Vex. but most of the time he shuts it off and still kicks my butt on the gills and sunfish I can't get him off the ice (which is a good thing)Now I can take longer road trips and stay out longer and he doesn't mind and I'm lovin it. Timmy, how did you make out with the Malibu? I had to us RJ's email address to make this work but thats OK, I'am sure he might post a couple hiself. CNY Tim
Welcome abord Splitshot - Thanks for help on that code Rick appreciate it Dark Cloud - And playing catch up is what we did Nobody could touch Dad and Billy in the deep water but we all got absolutely smoked by Craig in the shallows try 20 bluegills all over 8.5" and a limit of perch that were slobosaurus's with one weighing 2 lb's on the button. Well if we pray hard and this shoreline stays tight Saturday I will be in there with Craig and Frank if not then crappie fishing out east with Tyler. Craig, Tank, Billy, myself, Franky and Manning all took home a mess of fish today. Limits ah yup, ya betcha... Didn't take many photo's but here is what I have and the second one is of a couple of Franks nice ones... Quite a few guys out today making hay before the inevitable, ice is still good 15-17" and last nights cold shot locked the shore up nice, still 6" of snow on the ice but it definitely squatted a little today. Nice meeting hoggerinthebucket out there, Rick's a great guy but watch his reports We missed you Dark Cloud never wen't more than 15 min. without marking something should stay hot til the bitter end. Great fishing with you guys... My bucket.. Frankies dandies...

CNYFrank
Timmie . . .I like your perch colored tape measure. Slept like a baby last night and the walls were a shaking! I know Tank likes the small stuff . . . but I was using a sidewinder to attract and then found out they would hit it when deadsticked!! Actually their preference was deadsticking even the small stuff. Took me a little longer to finish my limit but hey, I do sleep well after a long day and dragging the hut. CNY Tim
Frank I can't take it! I'm taking tomorrow off to fish with Tank and Billy. I am keeping it short because I have to be back by 3 p.m. to get Amanda off the bus, but I will be in the shallows looking for a mixed bag I can guarantee that. Tried to get ahold of Craig, will try again in a little bit.
