iceman16
i called my uncle today to fill him in on deer hunting this weekend. he said his brother-in-law was driving around the west metro and had another truck comin at him and a bull moose passed right inbetween the two trucks. they called the cops and said there was another reporting of a sighting early this morning. just wondering if anyone else has seen the bull?iceman
862
It's true there is a large Bull moose running around the Chanhassen area. It has been seen a few times today. So watch the driving would not be good to hit him. I do think at least one of my buddies has a picture so I'll see what I can do. WCCO also had it on the 6 o'clock news. DRH1175
It happens from time to time. There was one in the Elk River Ostego area about 6 or 7 years back I saw it personally. some times it is cause by a brain disease sometime just a Rut crazed bull. However this far out of its range I would bet it is mighty confused.
gorrilla
My cousin from Long Prairie told me of a guy he knows who went to his bowhunting land last month and as he pulled in the driveway of the farm he spotted three very large(like 50") bull moose walking in the pasture. He rushed in to get the farmer and told him to watch just beyond the barn and he'd see something very cool in a couple seconds. The farmer was obviously amazed when three stud bulls wandered by. I guess they bedded down in his pasture and half the town of Long Prairie was out there looking them over that night.I've heard of numerous strays over the years, but never three bulls at once.
