This is my mother's old one.

1lb burger

1 can chicken gumbo soup

2 TBs of mustard

1/4 cup ketchup

brown burger toss in some onions. Drain fat. dump in soup and one can of water and mustard and ketchup. Season with salt and pepper. Simmer down until the right thickness. Slap on bum and enjoy. Quick but yummy!!!! this will feed about 4 so double up. Make this all the time for the deer camp. Put in crock pot and leave on low for a few hours.

This is the recipe from my high school and it is loved by all

1 lb beef

1 1/2 tsp lemon juice

2 tsp vinegar

1 1/2 tsp water

2/3 cup ketchup

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tbsp dehydrated onion

1 tsp dry mustard ( I use couple squirts of Plochmans)

1 tsp salt

1/8 tsp pepper

Brown the meat then add all of the rest and simmer for 15 to 20 min. on low heat. Some buns and chips and you are ready

A very simple recipe:

2 lbs. ground meat

14 oz ketchup

2 tablespoons mustard

2 tablespoons brown sugar

Mix the barbecue ingredients before adding to the browned ground meat. Heat it through until boiling, and serve.

If you like things with a little more kick, add some tobasco or chili powder or onion.
