Clam Heaters

I bought a Flip over(Yukon) last year, and just used the sunflower heater. Wanted to check and see how those Mr. Buddy heaters work. Has anyone tried any of these? Or is the sunflower the way to go?

go with the buddy or big buddy. after one day on the ice i noticed a big difference, (no heater hangover)

I have a voyager and the smaller buddy heater, it works great on days above 0, but on those colder days and at night, I need to run the sunflower, definately go with the Big Buddy, I wished I had........

I also have the Yukon and use the small buddy heater. I will be upgrading to the big buddy this winter, just not enough heat from the small buddy heater when the temp gets to zero or a lot of wind.

I second that. I have a lil' buddy and on the cold days it is not quite warm enough. Either get the Big Buddy, or install a fan in your house to circulate the air. I'll be hooking up computer fans in my yukon this year to alleviate the problem.

Here's what I did with My Little Buddy. But I agree I have a 6x8 clam and if its Cold out it cant produce.
