I made the mistake of watching the game in Hi-Def and listening to Joe Morgan. Was it just me and because the Twins lost that he just grates on how everything the Twins did was wrong? Two well place hits by Thomas did the Twins in today. Tip my hat to Thomas the man can swing a bat. But gee if you are going to bad mouth the Twins at least get the players names right (Jason)Will watch tomorrow but listen to the Twins radio announcers, Would rather listen to some home calling then a couple of announcers who seem that they are above calling an American league game. For awhile there I thought it was Windy doing the color!

I got sick of him by the third inning and muted the tv and listened to the Twins radio crew. In the third inning Morgan was still beating to death the first inning when Punto struck out on a high pitch and Castillo being thrown out trying to steal second. He said the Twins were done then and would never get to Zito. Worst part is, he was right.

I wonder what his thoughts were about stealing second in that situation?

Morgan is more knowledgeable than most announcers, and was a smart player. But oh man can he beat a point into the ground. Who wants to hear their team made a bad decision 37 times over?

He's a dink. I remember in 2002 when we played the A's and had that terrible first couple of innings, but still won.

He about had to swallow his tongue.

I'd much rather to listen to Joe Morgan than Tim McCarver and Joe Buck. Man, I still grind my teeth over some of the comments that McCarver made during the '87 series. Must have been hard for him to watch his Birds loose in 7.

He kind of reminds me of Joe Theisman. Was a good player but a total dork with the microphone.
