3" senkos

thought id share this, I was fishing for some bass ive been pestering lately and i think they got wise to me so i put on a 3" senko and the gills loved it. just another trick to put up your sleeve.

Man, those must be some really big bull gills taking a 3" senko. That is a rather large plastic lure to be using but I guess if it works then it's all good.

i was surprised myself at how they fit the senko in there mouth ive also had them take 4" finesse worms, using anything conventional only resulted in smaller fish.

Ummm.. Is it even possible to catch bluegills with 3 inch senkos? I mean, it would be almost impossible to hook one of them.. Bluegills have small mouths. How can you possibly hook one with a senko? Ex: Texas rig hook is not exposed, even if it is, still almost impossible to hook a blue gill with it. wackey rig, hook is in the middle of the senko, how can you hook a bluegill with it, blue gill would have to literally intake the whole senko in its mouth for you to be able to hook it ect with other techniques.

the how part. we have no idea! but ? i haven't seen one take a senko, but have seen them take a 10" worm texas rigged with a 2/0 hook.( and yes . the fish had most of the worm in its' mouth plus the hook!)

I caught numerous sunnies on 5 inch YUM Dingers this summer. Some got the hook, others, like this guy, got snagged, but they really loved them!
