This is sad

In preparation for our up coming hunting trip, I was working out in the shanty last night, tweeking here and putzing there, having and having a beer. Then I thought "Hmmm it's a bit chilly in here.

The next thing you know I have the heater running, the TV is on and I am sitting on the bunk watching a movie in my shanty, which is parked in the drivway.

I can't wait for ice!!!

Glad to hear I am not the only one. Ihave done that more than once this fall already. More times thatn I care to admit. I even slept in it 2 nites in the yard. One nite I woke up and thought I had the rattle real going

I started my shack building project in late May. I work on it at least 3 nights a week. I know I am going to have a tough time to finish it before Turkey Day even still. But I cant wait to sit in it this winter watching football and NASCAR on the tube with a rod in one hand and a beverage of choice in the other!
