When Packers lose ... who knew?

Nearly 50 percent more people are arrested on average at Lambeau Field when the Packers lose than when they win, according to a newspaper analysis. The Green Bay Press-Gazette analyzed arrests from 94 of the 107 games at Lambeau Field between August 1996 and January 2006. The newspaper found that when the Packers win, an average of 5.8 people are arrested, compared with 9.08 when they lose. Al Timmerman, retired Green Bay Police operations commander who formerly oversaw Lambeau Field tactics, said the difference is tied directly to the mood of the crowd. "When the Packers lost, the fans drank more and they became more unruly," he said. "When the team is losing and they're down, everyone is down in the dumps, and the beer was flowing a little bit better." When the Bears visit, arrests average 9.1 per game--win or lose.

It won't be that long, the NFL changes so much with free agency these days... thats why I won't recommend buying a players jersey! And yes, thank goodness for Longwell this year and Sharper and his bad knee, I mean Pro Bowl year last year. Did you make a prediction on how many games the pack would win this year? Doing any fishing?
