Windy City Walleye Hunter
Geno,A Cubbie fan AND a Cheesehead? Like Marty the blackjack dealer said to Clark Griswold before he started to deal the hands...THIS SHOULD BE SWEET! So, Griswold, I mean Geno, what say you give me half your money we go outside and I kick you in the N*TTS and we call it a day! Classic line from Vegas Vacation, second only to my favorite, Geno. In regards to the Pack against the Bears...Come on Geno, you know what line is coming, from cousin Eddie...I AIN'T SEEN A BEATIN' LIKE THAT SINCE THEY PUT A BANANA DOWN MY PANTS AND TURNED A MONKEY LOOSE! Bear down, Chicago Bears.......I'm like a bad penny Geno, you can't get rid of me no matter which thread you run to (just kidding) Giving you a little of the ole Eddie Haskell there.Hey Geno, seriously, did you hear about the furniture store in Plano. The guy had this huge sale the week before the Bears game, he sold over $300,000 in furniture with the kicker that if the Bears shut out the Pack all the stuff bought would be FREE! I guess the guy had insurance on most of the purchases but what a story, huh? Now get off this thread and back to the real thread...BASEBALL! How bout Freddie "Boom Boom" Garcia today. It was the perfect bowl of Cherrie-O's for me today. Sox 9-0, Cubs 0-6, and Twinks 0-1 and Liria-NO, and the Kitties got beat to boot. It don't get much better than this! WindySince this is a football thread I will not close with...YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD....YES! Pretend like you didn't just read that, put it out of your mind. mnwild
I heard about that guy, he took out like a $100,000 insurance policy case if the shutout happened. Would of been nice to get some free furniture. And Garcia was a monster last night, he was flawless untill the 8th and to top it off they got the win. Windy City Walleye Hunter
Sorry Buzz,I had to throw a little more kerosene on the flames for ole Geno. The drubbing his Cheeseheads took was not enough. You got to kick a man when he's down, right! Kidding, Geno. I love you man, and not in a Brokeback way or anything...MAN LAW! buzzsaw
So where are all of the favre defenders, the backers of the Demi god himself? Usually you throw something like this out there and the next thing you know Reggie White is knockin' your door.
genegodawa
I can't stand people like me who give such praise to one guy - we both know it is a TEAM game.
Wade Joseph
Having suffered through the 70's and 80's as a Pack fan, I am not sure yet we will be THAT bad. Time will tell. What I love the most is the Vikes fans who cannot stand it when we talk about our Superbowl success, So thats all I will say about it. Instead, lets talk about the Vikes being 4 time LOSERS! By the way, you haven't won it this year yet, nor will you. You know the best thing about the Pack finishing, oh, lets say 6-10 and the Vikes MAYBE going 10-6???? You STILL won;t get to the big game, you MIGHT make the playoffs and in the end, we can both go ice fishing and listen to the Superbowl on the radio but at least We will get better draft picks. buzzsaw
Alright!! A defender of the pack! It's nice to see one Packer fan stand up... maybe the next one can elaborate on there upcoming draft pick or for that matter Brett Favre PICK. mnwild
ya got to remember that was 10 years ago they won the SB. Being a Packer fan myself even I dont resort to that anymore. I am sure we both know nobody would be talking about Favre the way they are if he were playing for a better team that can give him time and protection, in my mind he would still have a few years left in him if that were the case. genegodawa
Just like in baseball, it don't matter who's got a better record than who UNLESS you are in the playoffs. I still think FBall teams need to play EVERY other FBall team in the schedule......that would be the only chance for my GB team to end up at .500+.Or are they already getting a cream puff schedule and still gonna lose more than they win??????
