Lead Core Reel?

I am looking for a large spool reel that can hold lead core for trolling. Any suggestions? I would like to spool 100 yards of lead core.

Look at the Daiwa Sealine 47SH, Penn 320 GT2, Okuma reels in the 45 series, or Bass Pro Shops Offshore Angler Gold Cup series 4004.

No need for linecounters, just get a levelwind.

Cabelas makes apretty good reel with a built in linecounter. I have the depth master II and like it a lot. I think I spent $130 on the rod and reel combo along with a spool of lead core and mono for leader.

I would highly recommend the Penn 320GT2. It has a faster retrieve than most at 4.3 to 1. You can appreciate it when reeling in 80 yards of lead core. It is what I use. It holds 100 yards of 27 pound test lead core perfectly.

I use the larger Penns yet. The new Shimano Tekota 700 work great too.
