It might be a long time before you get one bigger(luck is involved). That fish is definately *above average* in size. There are bigger ones out there, but you will learn there are lots more smaller. It was pretty big for my first flat..but compared to you guys...this was a baby I don't remember seeing a wound on its tail. I'll take a look at some other pictures I got. But like all....this guy made it back to the water safe Plenty of time for him to grow. I think a few more of these guys and thats all I'll be doing....flathead fishing.
