Has anybody heard if Greenway is close to signing? I heard that Jackson probably won't be in camp on time but haven't heard anything about Greenway.

Jackson signed yesturday and Geenway should sign this morning. All will be in camp on time

Sean Jensen and Don Seeholzer, of the Pioneer Press, report Minnesota Vikings first-round draft pick LB Chad Greenway has agreed to terms on a multiyear deal, a person close to the negotiations said. His agent, Marvin Demoff, was completing details of the contract with the team Wednesday night, July 26.

Will Greenway be a starter?

I have heard thoughts both ways.

Considering what we lost in free agency I would only assume that he is going to be depending on his progression through training camp and pre-season. I dont see Harris being much of a factor again this year and with Ben Leber as our only PROVEN contributor why not give the kid a chance.

They said they want to move him along slowly -- that was not what I want to hear about a high draft pick.

Saw a brief interview with Chad Grenway, on the channel 5 sports tonight, He sounds like a pro with a "gitrdone" attitude. I think he'll work out OK. Glad he signed and hope he has a good season

Im guessing and hoping he will be starting. At the least he should be getting playing time every game.

From what I understand he will enter camp as a back-up (as most rookies do) and have to earn his starting spot through training camp. I would be shocked if he's not in the starting line-up on opening day though.
