The Yeti
Has anyone here used this line? Thoughts? I fish a stained water lake. Would this line be good or bad?
Ralph Wiggum
I put their ice line on one reel this winter. It's strong, but I didn't think it was limp enough. It had a lot of memory.
Cliff Wagenbach
Yeti,I have had good luck using Cajun Line for leader on my Lindy Rigs.It worked well in the stained waters of Lake Vermilion where I guide all summer. You have to remember to wet the knots when tightening them though!Cliff
Tonka Boy
I'm relatively happy with it. I've put it side by side with my favorite mono (Berkely XT) and held up well. I would argree however that it's not quite as limp. On the other hand it's nearly invisible in every condition.
TSCTSC
It is good to me so far. Has never seen one break on me unlike other lines. Has got my vote of confidence for now.
stroker1
I use cajun line on all my rods and have had great luck with it.
Corey Bechtold
I tried some 4lb Cajun red line and I thought it was very stretchy, boingy, had lots of memory and wasn't that strong. I don't know if the heavier lines are any better but I wouldn't buy any ever again. Not trying to slam anyone else who uses this line, it just wasn't good for me.Good fishing,Corey Bechtold
OnTheWater
I think it is definitely a good line for deep or stained water. It is very strong and abrasion resistant. I'd recomend it for deep cranks and slow rollin spinnerbaits.
PerchJerker
I used it on some trolling reels, am not going to go back to it. Way too stretchy for my liking, didn't care for the memory, didn't notice any benefit from it. We ran 3 lines with Cajun Red and 3 with XT in low vis green in both clear and muddy water, no difference in which line caught more or fewer fish. I have never understood why red line becomes invisible but red hooks become an attractor
