gunflint
High of 41 and snow in the forecast for up here on saturday. Must be opener. No word on wind yet, but I have a pretty good idea.

Down Deep
Typical weather for northern MN in Mid-May. A couple of years ago I was shopping at Cabelas in April when I wanted to purchase a new rain suit. The saleslady in the deparment couldn't understand why I wanted a larger size so I could get a coat under it. I told her that I fished where only the tough and crazy fish. She didn't say much after that.
Fish Head
Like most of us, I have been watching the forecast very closely. Every time I look at the opener forecast it's different! This morning they said it was going to rain here in the cities by noon. It's now just after 1:00 and sunshine. It’s the only job you can be wrong most of the time and it's perfectly acceptable.
