for a great fishhouse table get ahold of a local salvage yard and ask for a table out of a conversion van they work and you can get the post as well. also can measure mine when you stop out i want to say 30-34 inches but it is a wag. btw my table even had cup holders in it. ... paul

Wainscott is usually 32" with the windows just above. Cabinets are generally 36" High 24" deep with the uppers only 12" deep.

You don't want to put it two low then while your standing you will have to crouch down to look out, I quess it depends on the size of your window. 46" from floor for your window
